It was immaculate.
It was the first time I saw one in person, every nook and cranny is filled with engine on that bike no wonder it weighs 500 lbs. He said it drank gas at 15 to 25 miles to the gallon.
I saw a Suzuki RE5 Rotary yesterday

How bizzare that this subject should come up today!! On saturday I and my brother in law, Ron, went on a road trip to greater downtown Pincher Creek AB, and came home with a very nice original '75 RE5 with all of 6800 mi on the clock. The only flaw is a poorly recovered seat, but the seat pan is like new. Original front IRC tire, and a Michelin on the rear that is hard as a rock. It's blue like Allen's, and it runs like a charm. I'm suitably pleased. I look forward to putting some miles on it, and comparing it to the '76 which is in the process of having Lester mags installed, as inspired by Tim's. All in all, a fair tradeoff to not making it to Deals Gap. It is definitely on my list of places to ride to. Cheers.

Well, Fred, maybe you'll get a new nickname as the "RE5 King" or something like that after this acquisition.
Nice catch.
