where can I get foam air filters for my 74 GT 550, other than the dealer.

Moto Air sells them - I've bought their GT750 filter elements before, but note they are in NL and costs are in euros. The GT550 part number from them is 1054, but I don't know what they would charge you. I've also bought (as a special order) from Twin Air in the US so I suppose that could be an option. KnK says they have them. I haven't bought there personally, but some board members seem to have had mixed success buying there - at least the price they are asking looks reasonable.
Or I suppose you could probably buy just the foam and make your own.

If at first you don't succeed, just get a bigger hammer !

Are you looking for a replacement for the OEM filter or pods (individual filters)
If you are looking for pods, I'd go for UNI.
