gt750 oil bath chain guard mystery

Can anyone help with info on the oil bath chain cover fitted to my gt750a , sold new in western Germany in 1976?
It is writtem ..
BDGM
TYRRA
SUZUKI

It is a very detailed alluminium casting with an oil capacity of 330cl.
I tryed to get info online and through some gt750 fanatics......and zero!!!
Anyone out there who might know this extra milage???

This chain guard is not REIMO....also a German maker and supplyer.
The one on my gt750 is an outstanding piece of engineering and must have cost a fortune to make. The fact that on the casting it says SUZUKI....is just too much.
Nowadays it would not be possible to associate such name with such part.
The way it is conceived at the engine sproket end.....is almost to aorcraft engineering levels.

hi!

Tyrra is (was) the name of a German distributor and manufacturer of accessories for Suzuki motorcycles.
There were next to the oil bath chain case also luggage racks, power-reduction-sets(due to tax issues) etc.

If you want to post pictures of the chain guard, you must store them somewhere on a webspace and put the link to the pic in your post here. There are a lot of services for free Pic-Upload.
