the chain is the last thing I need to be able to ride . It has been paid for allready.
Ken seems to be a nice guy and my first orders where shipped real fast, but now he doesnt answer the phones. unless he took some time off?

I had a bad experience with Ken and will not do business with him any longer.

I sent him an email, my first ever contact with him requesting a part 3 weeks ago. (the tachometer socket, bulbs for a T500) He replied he would get it ready with a price total and get back to me right away. I sent a second email 3 days later saying I really needed it soon, he said he had been busy and would get right to it....that was 2 1/2 weeks ago.
This was my first attempt...and last to do business with him. I only called him because PM didn't have it.
I guess all the stories of horrendous KNK service are true.

Yeah, stay away. No success stories with him here. In fact, I'm still waiting for a check from ol Kenny myself. I think maybe the next sundial meet should be at his front door and we can take up a "collection" for the board.
Anyone else...?

Well I got a call today from ken, he said he was unable to call since he has been in the hospital for 2 weeks with kidney issues.
he said my parts would be to me SOON. So I figure I'll give him another shot

Like I said this was the first issue I had with him all the other orders went smooth.
I guess everyone deserves a second chance

I noticed he has the business up for sale on his website. Health issues are listed as the reason for the sale. Seems like that would back up the story about the kidney problems. For what its worth, I recently bought a brake piston kit from PM with no issues. Got the parts relatively quickly with good packaging. No complaints. It seems hit or miss with all these guys.
Take care.

I've had good experience with Ken. Been buying from him for a little over two years. Most recently, Ken helped me troubleshoot a difficult master cylinder problem that would have prevented me from making it to the AMA Norwalk Fall Nationals. He spent an hour on the phone helping me one night and then express mailed a master cylinder body to me so that I would receive it in time to race on Friday.
He simply asked that I return it to him the following week. Then Ken built a complete assembly for me and thats what I have on my bike today. Ken is a stand up guy.

My experiance with Ken earlier this year was that he was slow to respond, and I sent a couple emails basically telling him I had issues with how he failed to deliver in a timely manner. He then supplied several excuses why. When I did get the part however, it was exactly as descibed, has worked well, and at the time I didn't have another source for it.. So I guess I'm kind of 50/50 on KNK. Definately not like dealing with some of the better part suppliers.

Ah still the same old story

it seems all the sellers have issues, you take your chances no matter where you get parts from.
you can try this guy
http://www.modernmotorcycling.com/ he's located in Vancouver B.C. Canada and has been open since the 60's it really is surprising how many nos parts he has, his name is Murray, he deals with the old bikes and his son Aaron deals with the newer ones.

I have no use for KNK. I sold him a bunch of parts and it took threats to get paid. The stuff I gave him to sell on consignment, I just wrote that off. Anderson Vintage Parts is worse, though when he started out, he was OK. I sold Tad a bunch of stuff on time, and his payments arrived on schedule. Different story, though, when I bought a part from him a couple of years later. Took threats to get the part.
Paul Miller...the few things I've ordered from him (eBay auctions) arrived quickly and correct.
