Our local classic japanese bike group has been going for two years now. We meet monthly for a ride-out and a few beers. Over a few of the latter we thought it might be a good idea to try and run an all japanese classic show. There hasn't been one in our area for over a decade. The response was great, with 98 bikes being entered and the public filling the hall for the whole day. Thought you might like to see some of the bikes we had on display.

A herd of local Buffalo - or Waterbuses as we know them

Lovely line up of classic strokers

Didn't think we'd get one Cobra but look what arrived

An RM125...with a T350 motor in it

Best Kawasaki in Show

Best Yamaha in Show (owned and restored by the above Kawsaki owner)

Image

Best Honda in Show (yeah, we let them come play)

Image

Best Suzuki in Show and Best Bike in Show. You may be able to see a lovely T350II in an earlier shot - it was second best Suzuki and owned by this same guy. Oh, he's a member of this board as well (but a shy one)

Hope you enjoyed seeing what we ride and play with down here.

Thanks for the great pics, Mike. Looks like Suzuki was well represented. I'm glad the whole thing went over well for you guys. We all need to have more of that kind of display so Joe Public has some kind of idea as to what CAN be done with some effort and a few bucks.....well, okay, a LOTTA bucks, in some cases. :D
