John:
You may also want to consider a small sticky to put onto the actual rack/rail/whatever. Always remember: It's very tough to sell if you don't advertise. Word of mouth is okay.....but peoples' memories are spotty.....so a label can be your "silent salesman" 24/7/365.

A simple web site might be a good idea too. there are so many free sites available, and it's cheap enough to register your own domain and build a professional site with shopping cart etc.
Or do a simple site with an order form. Add in the code from Paypal and people can order them 24-7-365. If you go that way, you may want to allow them to enter their country and use a standard shipping cost including a slight margin for packaging.
Orders won't make you a billionaire overnight, but it could grow into a nice small parts fabrication business.
Get a good one plated and send it to Badger at CB or to the guys at CMM to plug it and fire up the welder.

thanks for your replies.
as for setting up my own website. I wouldn't know where to start . I must admit when it comes to computer things I'm useless.
I always get my son to do things for me if I get stuck.
I don't know why but for some reason I can't seem to grasp things easily on the PC.
but give me a drawing of some thing to make out of metal, diy etc I'm very good at.
I'll get some pics sorted at a later date and prices.
the trouble with prices is that the internet conversions are not right.
I quoted a deposit of ($45)30 pounds but paypal says 28 pounds before deduction?so some thing is not right.
anyway I sort it all out. john

some thing like this perhaps
Suzuki GT550 grab rail
price 45 UK pounds p&p 15 UK pounds.

postage cost is for USA, Canada,Australia, New Zealand.
to the EU countries 10 UK pounds.
UK 5 pounds.
in some cases it may be a bit lower or higher. so what I've done is the nearest.. UK .. to post in England is around 4 pounds but north of Scotland and Ireland is around 6 pounds.if I did individual postage cost I could write a book.not only that I would need to go to the post office for each parcel and that would add to the cost . it would have to be added on the the cost.
that would be defeating the object.
I try to keep the cost down to the minimum.
what I'll try and do is to have at least one of each.rack and g/rail.
while I'm out of work I'll get my garage and tools sorted.
I haven't finnish my hydraulic press yet.
currently its a 5 ton and I think I will need some thing bigger 15 ton perhaps. john

John, check out this link for postage rates from the UK, if you haven't already got it. This site SHOULD tell you everything you need to know.

I've done all that Rick.
the trouble is not so much the weight it is the size as well.
I've done it a couple of times but when I got to the post office it is different.
for example I just posted a RE 5 grab rail to France cost 7 pounds
but a month ago I posted the same but a different part of France and it came to about 13 pounds. its a bit like here UK doesn't necessary means England only. northern scotland and Ireland cost more than the English post.
so I've got to round it off.some I win some I lose but in the end it works out right.
