Santa arrived at my garage early

Post by MikeH1A »

I've just treated myself to a new toy for Christmas. For some time I have been looking for a trail bike and had been hoping for an Apache. However, they are very few and far between down here. Recently a newly restored 250 Savage came up for sale and I struggled sorely with temptation 8) In the end I could not resist the urge and she arrived at my place today. The photos are a bit grainy so don't show the shininess to full advantage but she is a very tidy wee machine. There's a couple of things that aren't correct for the 71 model but hey, the price was pretty good and I'm a happy boy.

Very nice.
Think of how stupid the average person is, then realise that half of them are more stupid than that.

Very sweet indeed - I especially like the HUGE side panel badges. Enjoy her!

Must be said, I've often thought of having a big single-cylinder stroker trailie in the garage, like a PE250 or maybe going the whole hog and getting a Yam IT465 ...
