Christine showed me that video the other day and I thought it was very well done. I am one of the stubborn few within the younger generation that has resisted texting, smart phones, and social media sites. The other day I was out with a couple friends and remember feeling frustrated with the amount of time they were spending on their smart phones. Then I looked around the lounge and realized out of about 15 people there I was the only one not texting!

Josh count yourself blessed, its a stupid world of people being obsessed with phones, tablets and other hand held devices. I suspect if a plane crashed and everyone survived, no one would be able to pick out from the crowd of passengers who was sitting next to them in the same seat row.
You will feel very happy at the Gap as usual then, since theres no internet connection being we are in the mountains.

How can that be? No internet for days on end... Is that even allowed now?

its amazing what people will gawk at, tell them theres no internet connection and they cant believe what you are saying. Its like as you said Richard, how can that be????
Our place is almost ten miles out of Robbinsville and you have to ride about eight of those just to get a signal. At that point you should just go the extra two miles into the town and sit in the park to make the call or look at whatever is your electronic addiction.

This reminds me of the errors of electronic gadgets, the first time Dave and I went to Deals Gap he borrowed a friends GPS to try it out and they were not that common back then. Being it was a new house spot for that year, we both laughed when it finally said 'you have arrived' and we were stopped in the middle of a field with no houses around.

That was not a funny video to Watch.... But bloody right, worth considering... I am guilty too

And of course we all watched that video on our "smart" phones as we drove to work or walked down the street.
