What Titanics engines may have sounded like

Post by Suzsmokeyallan »

I came across this and its quite interesting to listen to. It may be soothing to some, and really annoying to others. Looking at design and performance data on the Titanics engines from many years ago, I've often wondered what sort of sounds they would have made at full speed.
They were huge for the time and basically once the keel was laid, the ship was built around the engines.

Two strokes, its just that simple.

Awesome sound thanks for posting that, I can totally hear some sort of industrial/metal song on top of that mechanical music, so rhythmic.
