Pics of 70 T500III

Post by Admin »

Click on thubnails to enlarge. It is as I brought it home, haven't had a chance to do any cleaning on it yet. Sounds good, I think carbs need adjusted or pilot jet is clogged. Very happy with it. :dbanana:

Ron is a real nice guy, very friendly and helpful. Weather was bad and I was 5 hrs from home or I would have liked to spent more time with him getting to know each other. Hopefully our paths will cross again.

Thanks for everything, Ron! :hail:

WOW!!!!!

That is a super-nice bike. With minimal work, it'll be a showbike. Be glad Paul Miller didn't see it first!

   What was I thinking? Just kidding. My baby could not have gone to a nicer person. Tim, glad you made it safely home. Wish we could have spent more time together. To all the rest-I'm still a board member and may someday come to my senses and ask Tim to resell the bike to me. Good luck to all and thanks for all the advice I have received from you guys. Gods speed. Ron

Tad,

I still have your shirts - I told you I would hold them until you were ready... So, you ready?

PM me your mailing address and let me figure out your total with shipping. Then you can Paypal me or mail me a check/money order.

All,

Sooo close, we're at 22 shirts provided I can get a mix of colors. I'm going to email the shirt lady and find out if we can get a mix of colors on a repeat order.... I may just ask for two extra XLs (so I can wear them if nobody else needs them) to hit the minimum order......

T500 Trun Signal Install ??

Post by Admin »

I have a 71 T500 and and installing some model correct rear turn signals. The bike currently has what look to be middle late 70's brackets and stalks on it. Looking from the T500 parts manual it appears that the 71 model doesn't require any bracket to attach. Does anyone have a good picture of where I am supposed to hang these signals from on the rear of the bike? Thanks Tim

Diamond, I'll take two (in any colour, although I prefer black) in XXL. Thanks!
