Re: Suzuki T-Shirt - Hatchet Racing
Gary,
That T-Shirt looks great! I heard you posted it on the Board.... couldn't be more pleased with the way it all turned out. I know a few of us here in Ohio will want some...its probably going to be the mandatory uniform for the pit crew this year. My boys are already circulating the news of your shirt on facebook and cant believe it...my wife just thinks I am incorrigible! Thanks for creating a great T-shirt.
I plan to buy a few as quickly as possible since the price will likely go up with demand after the 9.99 sec pass. Im sure even the H2 racers will consider getting one after that. Its an instant classic! Last year, one of the crew members from Larry McBrides team came over to me with a big grin on his face. Said the GT750 was his first bike and brought back memories seeing mine at the track.
Thanks Gary.

Re: Suzuki T-Shirt - Hatchet Racing
I'm very happy that I can come up with these shirts for Hatchet Racing. They are really sharp shirts.
The cost will be $19.99 each plus shipping for sizes small to X-Large in white or ash gray. XXL and bigger will be more. I add a couple of dollars to the cost of each shirt for the Super Eliminator prize fund (winner, runner up and semi finalists get the extra prize money) and/or the Reaction time award at the Super Eliminator races. I also figure the paypal cost in the cost of the shirt so if anyone wants to mail me there payment $1 comes off the cost of each shirt.
I bought a bunch of bubble mailers so I will be able to ship the shirts cheaper via First Class for single shirts. Shipping cost will be $4 to $5 depending on shirt size to the U.S. and Canada for one shirt. Multiple shirt orders I can quote the shipping cost as the order is received.
Let me know the number of shirts wanted, size and white or gray. Once I am ready to order I will pm each of you with details on how to pay and the exact amount. If anyone wants multiple shirts, I will need your zip code or country to figure the shipping cost. Country is needed also for single shirt shipments outside of the U.S. I will be ebaying the shirts also but they will cost at least $2 more on ebay to cover the fees.
I will be placing the order for the shirts this coming Friday the 13th. I will be ordering extras but they will be for selling on ebay so if you want to make sure that you get a shirt, let me know what you would like.

I will be ordering the shirts on Friday the 13th. If anyone else would like one or more, let me know what size and color so I can make sure and have them for you. If I can sell enough of these to make the effort worthwhile, I will be making up a GT750 street bike shirt next and an RE5 shirt.

Re: Suzuki T-Shirt - Hatchet Racing
Herman - I was re-reading this thread and then got a bit confused by Gary's post above, as well as your own about additional shirts possibly being offered. Just for clarity - does Hatchet Racing benefit from the sale of these shirts ? If they do benefit, put me down for an XXL in either grey (preferred) or white - I'm in Canada.

Re: Suzuki T-Shirt - Hatchet Racing
Hi Ian,
Just a quick note to say that I have benefitted greatly from the entire Super Eliminator experience and getting to know some of the top people in two-stroke racing. Gary M (Herman) is very involved in S/E and made these shirts just about at cost to share his enthusiasm for the sport of two-stroke drag racing with others. Two years ago, Gary made a similar shirt for Smokin' Joe (H2 750) and all of us bought some. They were great! He has also made several DVD movies and Youtube Videos for the S/E racers, all for the love of 2-stroke racing and because his enthusiasm cannot be contained.
If there were any proceeds from the Smokin' Joe T-shirt, it went straight towards the "Fast Reaction Time Award" which I get an opportunity to win at each race along with every other racer but....you have to earn that award and it aint easy. I also donate to the Fast Reaction Time prize money each year too because it adds a little excitement during Qualification Rounds (as if we arent excited enough). Last year, Austin Steadman (son of Roger Wilhelm who is an extraordinary racer) won the prize money and a Certificate from the Ohio Society for the Preservation of Water Buffalos. Giving a Certificate like that to a Kawasaki H-2 racer was priceless... FWIW, Gary came up with the nickname "Hatchet" because I won the 1st ever Fast Reaction Time Award racing against Smokin Joe. The truth is, Smokin-Joe staged both lights quicker than I expected so I got a little nervous, pushed my bike into the beam quickly and cracked the throttle all at the same time, then, dropped the clutch with my eyes shut at full throttle. (At least on that weekend, no one could beat the .009 sec RT...it was my second drag race ever).
Thanks for getting a T-shirt Ian...and Gary, I cant thank you enough for all that you do to promote S/E which has helped our class grow! Thanks for selecting me for this years T-shirt. Its an honor to have a Suzuki GT750 picked!

Re: Suzuki T-Shirt - Hatchet Racing
Kevin said all that I would have said and more in his post before mine here. I don't know what more I can say. The gray shirts are going to take longer to get because the place that is making them has to order the gray blank shirts. The white shirts are all in stock and will be made this weekend and shipped to me on Monday. The size XXL and XXXL will cost $2 more due to the higher cost for the blank shirts. I'm going to be ordering extra shirts other than what has been requested but they will be put up on ebay at a higher cost due to the ebay fees. I'm typing up the order tonight and it will be placed tomorrow (Saturday) if anyone else is interested.

The shirts are here. I'm not sure if I can get all of them packaged and to the post office today as the post office closes in a few hours. I will email each of you when I have shipped your shirts. I bought a few extra ones if anyone is interested.

Re: Suzuki T-Shirt - Hatchet Racing
I think Kevin would represent his shirts better than me. He should have his on Friday. Or how about you Dave? You must have some Suzuki's you can take the picture with.
