Hey Rick & Advant63
Thanks for the advise, I have already been told to start off with a smaller bike, which is why I'm in no rush to get a keeper as yet, start small, THEN go big!!
I know from personal experience too, when my brother's bike conked out and yes we took turns lugging the great bloody thing back home.
I've been wanting to get another tattoo, so Advant63, I think u r a genius!! Brilliant idea, but, I will reserve that for now, who knows I might end up with a Honda or something else.
Also, when I do get my keeper, have to let you know I doubt it very much that I will be restoring and fixing like you guys. Yes I will learn how to maintain it, but all that stripping down and stuff, that ain't my speed.
Hey, at least I know how to change a tyre on a car, and other minor stuff, which I think is more than most women. I'll get my brother to help me, after all he's the grease monkey. But I'll learn enough that I can do minor repairs / maintenance, so I won't get stuck by the side of the road. Or I can pull the typical woman trick, look helpless and smile sweetly at some poor unsuspecting guy.
