opinion needed!

Post by johnakay »

I'm thinking of making a removable rack for the T/GT500 but still retain the grab rail. something that you can slide on once the nuts are loosened.
for those long rides out and when not in use it can be removed without taking the grab rail off.
something in the line of the picture.
do you think that is a good idea or not?
as for market who knows it may sell ,it may not.
wont know till I try it.

John,
I probably wouldn't buy a removeable rack but I would buy a rack like the one on the Cobra in the picture.

Personally, I think a rack kind of takes away from the clean lines of the bike, don't like the looks of them, but they are real handy at times. I think an easily removable rack is a good idea, slip it on when you want to carry something, off when just going for a ride.

I like the look of that rack on the bike. It still looks pretty sporty and clean.
