Weather thread for Mid-Ohio Vintage Days 2009

Post by diamondj »

Not looking too shabby right now for Mid-Ohio based on the 10 day forecast from Weather.com:

So who's definitely going to be there (besides me)?

I may be a bit soggy, but I'll be there, Jim. Leaving in 4 hours. Weather.com has me thinking I'll be riding in rain almost the whole way from Phoenix.

They could really do the fans and racers good if they would change the date of Mid Ohio as it seems like there is crappy weather every yr around this time . I know in '05 the yr i made the trip up there it was bloody hot and wet .

Bear in mind they flip-flopped the weekends a few years ago so that the Super Honda weekend came first instead of following Vintage Days. I believe they had perfect weather this past weekend.....

Everyone at the motel was freaking over the forecast for hail this AM. Rained like hell for an hour. OK now, but storms supposed to return after lunch.

We have had rain there afew times and this year is a wet one in general.

This year the AMA/DMG/NASCAR show was in town the weekend before Vintage days and it rained on Friday for them. What's up with that bunch of wierdos anyway?
