This post is not about 2-stroke Suzukis but it is about vintage bikes....
At the link below is a story about a guy who conned 3 of his buddies into taking a ride with him to Mexico from Southeastern Alabama...
He bought a 500 dollar Honda 550 and really liked it so he got a parts bike...which was better than the original... then he acquired another parts bike for the two... and Yep it was better again then the first two.... when he got the 4th... it was finally worse... but it ran all the same... next thing you know he and three friends were scheming to ride all four of them somewhere...and Mexico seemed to be the place of choice...
Took them 10 days total... riding 200-300 miles a day... with a total trip mileage of 2240 miles... all the bikes made it... however one of the bikes lost its motor on the last day...
