Hi I just joined today Im Andy, hello all! I am off this afternoon to go see a nice little GT550 for a resto project so as soon as I get it home I will post a piccy or 2 wish me luck!!

Hi,& welcome Andy,yep good luck with the GT550! a number of blokes here have them,some have MORE than one!! I'm sure they'll introduce themselves shortly.I have a GT750A,owned now for 12 years, & the restoration goes on! I don't think it ever ends,seem to find something to improve,or "fettle" every week!

I got it!! it's getting dropped off tomorrow I think I found a 3 into 1 in holland for 100euro so all good so far.... I payed 650 euro for the bike and a spare engine an a couple of boxes of spares for extra 70euro so not too bad....

Yay the back light works............ it there endeth!!! lolz looks like a fair bit of work to do... the indside of the tank is rusty as hell any one got any tips for cleaning it out???? I took th ecarbs off and my son 7yrs said eeerrggh they are full of dog sick..... and there was only 1 main jet in place
