Nice pic and memory tz.

I had a Triton in 1971, KWU313J - where are you now!!!
T100 engine (which blew up spectacularly!)
It was supposedly built for Allan Jeffries who raced it with a Gold Star engine in.
Renolds 531 tubing, pattern Velo tapered swing arm, ally tank and central oil tank, bump seat, Superleggera forks, KR86 front & TT100 rear, Goldie brakes (just seen a front one go for over a grand!) Norton chrome headlamp, Honda back lamp, high level siamese pipes with an empty reverse cone megger. Very light and handled like a dream.
I called it 'Dratsab' as it was built up of lots of different bikes! (Read it backwards.....)
It was a pile of poo, but I was 20 and I loved that poo then!!!
I replaced the 500 with a 350 out of a 3TA which I bought for a tenner (complete bike, selling the rest for £20!)
Still went through the ton. I always fancied sticking a GT500 engine in, Crookes had them brand new for about £200 then.
Sold it to fund the GT550 a year later.
Must find a pic of it.
Think of how stupid the average person is, then realise that half of them are more stupid than that.
