it has been nearly 4 years....

since I sold my T500.
yes I wish I haven't but its gone now
still hankering after another.
my wife and boys and friends think I'm mad thinking about getting a T500 or GT500.
the problem is that are fetching good money unrestored.
when I bought mine it cost me £450 even then I thought it was a bit much
now they start from any where from a £1000 for a none runner.
and another thing is availability of some spares as some are now no longer available.now that I'm not working full time, only self employed selling my rack's and rails . I can't really afford to throw money around.
so now I have to be careful what I spend my money on.

Nice original looking bike, but look at the price of it already ! Ouch.

We bought 3.5 GT500s about 18 months back, from a local breaker.....he asked 2k, but I went into car dealer mode, and beat him down, and we settled at £1200. We thought that was dear then, and we sold about £400 worth of bits we didn't want....seems like an absolute bargain now !

John,

What about something like this from the states:

How tough would it be to transfer the title to the UK?

I ask because Rick Brett will be probably be shipping another container load home after Vintage Motorcycle Days in July. I wonder how cheaply you could import one if we were simply adding it to a container Rick was already sending over?

I could've had one off Rick.
it looks nice but it was a none runner and he wanted nearly 2 grand for it.
