there is some pepper that you can buy that will cause dogs and cats to have itchy paws. but I can't remember the name of it.
but do try ordinary pepper. sneak in early in the morning and spread it all over the garden.or just play loud music outside till 11pm.

Where I grew up, the policy was called "Shoot, Shovel, Shut Up"... But it might be a bit full-on for a suburban environment.

How about going to walmart and getting a big bag of rawhide bones. Fling a couple of handfuls over the fence and be done with it. It will keep their little yappers busy. Shouldn't harm the dogs and if the little dears get too fat and lethargic to bark you win either way!

Of course you could escalate and buy a couple of roosters and some earplugs and see who breaks first but that would be the hard way of doing things....

We had a problem recently with deep snow drifts and the rabbits were chewing our rather special ornamental specimen trees. I asked around the local gardeners for something to discourage the pesky rabbits and all they could tell me was that they found some plants that Deer dislike the smell of, so I asked them if rabbits object to the smell of gunpowder.....

Yes, tz, a perfect opportunity to "expose" the rabbits to some lead to promote "lead poisoning". Make sure the lead is firmly inserted into their furry little bodies so that it will really have a chance to do its thing......
The choice of insertion method is up to you.....

Yes John, I can get those here. I've read a lot about them. Consensus is some smaller dogs like terriers actualy bark more. Besides, why should I have to foot the bill?
Rabbits? They get to meet and greet my Crosman 2100 pump up air rifle loaded with .177 pellets. Squirrels get the same treatment. I like the air rifle because it doesn't make much noise, but is very lethal with a muzzle velocity of 760 fps. If I just want to piss them off, I use one pump. If I want to take them out, then it's seven to ten pumps.
I was born with nothing and still have most of it left.
