Boycott Sears

Post by Coyote »

My wife bought me a $100 gift card for Christmas because she knew my brad nailer had thrown craps. So I go to Sears online and click on the electric brad nailer page. There it is! Perfect @ $99.99 So I jot down the number and off to Sears I go. They do not have the model I am looking for, but thier other store does (another 15 miles). So I pay for it where I am and go to customer pick up at the other store. I bring it home, open the case and the SOB is pnumatic. Keep in mind that I picked this model off thier electric nailer page.
I returned the tool immediatly and was issued another gift card for $108.51 (the original $99.99 plus tax) paid out of pocket.
Today I took the gift card back to Sears to redeem it for monies spent. I have all reciepts including the one my wife had from purchasing the card orginllaly. The answer is TOTALLY unacceptable. NO refunds on gift cards period!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now I might be an old fool but that just ain't right in anybody's book. I gave you $108.51 that I am not going to use here and I want my money refunded.
Sorry - NO WAY!!!!!!!!!!!
F**K-em I say. That's just plain robbery. No wonder they are going down the tubes!
My wife has worked at JC Penney for the past 28 years. They always redeem a gift cards for cash if the customer can't find anything he or se wants. Now that's the way it should be.
SCREW SEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I gotta tell you friends this really chaps my a$$. Now here I am stuck with a $108.51 gift card I can't do s**t with.
I was born with nothing and still have most of it left.

I hardly ever buy anything from sears anymore.I have a 19.2v drill that i have used for years. The batteries that came with it crapped out in less than a year.I bought 2 more and I only have one of those left.I quit buying sockets and rachets years ago and bought KD tools where I could.Mainly off of Ebay for really cheap.I now use Kobalt stuff from Lowes.
Thats where i have a Problem with Lowes. If you return an Item before 7 Days they put the money on a Gift card to use on something in their store and will not refund cash. That Sucks Hind tit.
Hang me from the Tree of Shame.Damn! I forgot the Rope.
